My closet is primarily comprised of blacks and whites and fairly classic articles, but lately I’ve been messing with prints. The classic print that still makes me feel a little spruced up is the humble polka dot. Here are the ways I’ve been wearing it lately:
More is more, ammiright?! I love matching prints but my style is more classic so it’s not really in my wheelhouse to match a polka dot with a floral print, for example. I’m big on neutrals so I like sticking to black and white for this one! I would definitely wear this to a bigger event or a sassy dinner date – not an everyday look (at least for me). The key is finding some polkas that are complementary. Using the same color pallet makes the spots go together!
Obviously this blouse goes with everything but my favorite (and most comfortable) way to wear this is with a great skirt. P.S. HOW ABOUT THIS SKIRT?! It’s sold out almost everywhere so I linked through a few options so you can find the one in your size! I love wearing sneakers with skirts and dresses to make a cutie outfit more everyday.
Just a touch
If you’re like me and go for more casual + classic looks. Try using the blouse as more of an accessory to spice up a basic outfit. I would wear this running errands to going out which is basically all I wear. If I’m not comfortable in an outfit to do a million other things, I likely won’t wear it. BTW, these jeans are worth it. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the price tag on these suckers. I always splurge on jeans just because I know how long the really good ones last. As far as fit, AGOLDE fits me really large. I’m normally a 25 and these are a 23. Which, hey, I won’t complain. Be sure to size down if you get these!
There you have it! Polka done three ways *does polka dance* – JK I don’t even know what that would look like. Shop my favorite polka dots below!
